Merty and Frank Culligan founded County Boutique in 1966, driven by a passion for beautiful fabrics and distinctive fashion. They were among the first buyers to bring international designs home to Ireland.

Our story
Since the store opened in 1966, County Boutique has enjoyed 58 years of helping Irish women look and feel their best with beautifully made clothing. We’re known for celebrating Irish Design such as Caroline Kilkenny, Ekotree accessories and Kyballion jewellery, along with showcasing International designers such as Marccain, Psophia and Joseph Ribkoff. Casual brands include Mos Mosh, In Wear, White Stuff and many more!

As our reputation grew, we quickly became one of the leading boutiques in the west of Ireland with visitors from all Ireland, UK, and the US selecting unique designer pieces.
1995
In 1995, sisters Gwen and Maeve joined the family business, with an inherited love for beautiful clothing. It’s also the year we tripled in size to over 1,500 sq.ft., showcasing pieces over 2 floors in a modern, sleek environment.
2024
In October 2023 we were thrilled to celebrate 57 years in business at No. 57, O'Connell Street, Ennis and our team of dedicated in-store Style Consultants are ready to assist you, be it over the phone, by email, via Facebook and Instagram or in person.
